W.H.O.-FHH EWR Meeting on Standardization of Traditional Processing Methodology of Herbal Materials for GMP Guideline. The processing methods for herbal materials are a unique traditional wisdom in traditional Asian medicines. Such methods render the reduction of toxicity derived from toxic constituents existing in herbal materials. In addition, the processing methods also are aimed to increase the storage of herbal materials, e.g. red ginseng. The EWG meeting is purposed to establish the standard methodology for frequently used herbal materials in industry and clinic. The first day (May 9) will be opened to general publics of scientists of interest who are requested to enter pre-registration due to limited space.
